Salt box is only open wednesday and friday in the winter

there is many places in town that do fish and chips, just as good as the salt box,if not better ..at a fraction of their prices

Thats not what was asked and thats your opinion ,we have tried some that have been mentioned and nowhere near as good in my opinion

Tried Salt Box. Gave me a spoonful of mushys! Now use Gossips. The fish is so big it takes 2 people to lift it onto a specially reinforced table, and the mushys look like that mountain in 'close encounters'. Well, nearly true!
