We watched The 4th Kind, I am not a supernatural/alien kinda person, but... it was scarily believable....

We were a little disturbed after it, and sat awake for a good hour when it finished....

In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. Modern-day, Alaska, where-mysteriously since the 1960s-a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The Fourth Kind exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film.

I'm so looking forward to seeing it, but it will premiere in Holland on the day I'm going away for a trip Just have to wait a bit longer, I guess. I've been waiting for months already, what's another week

Watched the Hurt Locker earlier this week, very good.
Last night we watched The Blind Side, if I had read what it was about I wouldnt have watched it, and what a movie I would have missed, fantastic 10/10

The Hurt Locker just won best film and best director. We must have missed something. We turned it off when they started punching each other in the stomach. Maybe we'll watch the last half hour but I can honestly say we were bored with it. Sorry Rhona, and I suppose everyone who voted for it? Avatar was a revelation, please watch it even if you're not into sci-fi.

Leap year was a nice film, not as good as the trailiors made it look, but still enjoyable.

off to see 'the blindside' tonight .. lets see if Sandra Bullock lives up to her best actress award

The Blindside was fantastic!!

Sandra Bullock well deserved her oscar, very well acted.

the story is very moving & i did shed a tear (or two) ..its well worth seeing, very much based on American football, but you dont need a knowledge of the game to understand the film.
