Default Sunexpress Stansted-Izmir

Hi everyone, I though I'd give you my experience with Sunexpress since I heard some bad things about them, but flew them to Izmir from London last night.
No problems at all, in fact I have only good things to say. Checking in at Stansted was smooth, I had 17 kilos overweight and was prepared to pay, but they didn't even charge me! The plane had some empty seats though so maybe that's why...but still really nice I think. Boarding was smooth and the flight set off on time. Got drinks and a sandwhich and chocolate bar and I'm assuming the journey was all good after that (I had a big night before so slept through it). Landing went smooth and we were exactly on time!

If this is standard, then they are highly recommended! The ticket was just over 100 pounds. Pretty cheap I think.

Linda

Thanks for the review Linda. £100- not bad at all.

I have read one negative review on here:

Excellent deal!

How did you actually book it? I've been having trouble finding a website for Sunexpress...do they have one or did you use an agent?

Hi All

Just wanted to say that I used Sun-Express recently from London to Izmir and I found them to be very good. Check in was no problem, the flight was on time, and the cabin crew were also very nice. All in all it was a good experience and I certainly will use them again

Hi everyone,
I've just booked flights this morning, online, for my grandparents. Returning from Izmir to stansted, it was a piece of cake. You just select your dates and it searches and shows you the best possible flights plus costs. I booked two one way tickets in June, total cost including taxes was 80 pounds...yes that's one way for two people!
I also booked their return (as a one way from stansted) in october for 97 pounds total *cost is more as stansted airport tax is more*. So thats 177 pounds return for 2.
We got a good price and the dates we wanted.
My father has flown with them already and has said that they are fine to travel with..no problems.
Charlotte
p.s. don't forget you need a printer to print off your e tickets!
