Default Bordum Airport to Kusadasi

Hey folks! This will be my first time abroad and im just wondering if its fairly easy to get from Bordum airport to Kusadasi. The distance looks a fair bit but im sure it's worth it! Thanks!

Have you booked your transfers with the travel agent??/ if so its about 2.5 hours transfer with a stop for a drink and toilet ..on a private transfer about 1.5 hours its a nice journey though.
Izmir is the nearest airport to kusadasi.

As Joy said, its about 2-2.5 hrs on the transfer bus the tour companies offer. (it really depends on what hotel you are staying at & how many people they have to drop off, i have done it in 90mins on a transfer bus before)

its a nice drive, & most of the flights land in Turkey pretty early, so the transfer is usually spent asleep (or is that just me?? )

Hi Alewismclean, izmir airport would be much better for you to arrive at if you are planning to come to kusadasi, it is only 1 hour transfer, bodrum has some serious issues about foreign people getting picked up by just anyone, just chill and look forward to your holiday there is loads to look forward too

Unfortunaly singsong, Izmir isnt usually an option when your taking a package holiday, ive always had to fly into Bodrum.

Alewis, dont worry about the transfers either, the problems in Bodrum (& most of the other airports in Turkey) wont effect you as you will have all inc deal with the package holiday company who are licensed to take you to your resort.

(incase your wondering, the problems at many of the Turkish airports are where unlicensed transfer companies that have been booked privately ..ie not thru a tour company, have been stopped from picking up & dropping people off, as they are not legally allowed to carry passengers)

The problems seem to have calmed down ..they are only stopping the unlicensed carriers, not people who are collecting or dropping off friends & family.

I was at Bodrum airport last night (did it in 90 minutes, the roads are pitch black until you get to Milas) and had no problem picking up my mum's friends. No one asked asked us anything. We parked in the proper carpark and waited outside the Terminal.
