Exclamation Shopping in Izmir: The Kipa Shopping Center

I thought EGS Park was a shoppers paradise...but today I discovered The Kipa Center.

The Kipa Shopping Center, located in cigli, a town of Karsiyaka (just 10 minutes from the Ege Park) is a huge complex with 3 floors full of many many shops. They have the biggest Kipa I have ever seen (and I've been to all the Kipa's in Izmir) They have a Starbucks, a KFC, Marks & Spencers, book shops, electronic shops, designer clothes shops, a very big make up store and many many other shops.

They also have a CineCity cinema and the biggest food hall I've seen on the third floor.

Wow! That will definitely have to go on my list of places to shop.
My son went to EGS in Mavisehir last night with his school to visit the cinema. He said it was a really big place with bowling, cinema, migros, starbucks etc. The watched Rush Hour 3 which was in english with turkish subtitles.

Ohhh roll on Tuesday

Ah it's brilliant Ally. We went again today...

Aswell as shops, they have a big children's play area called Kiddyland, with loads of rides.

(That should keep the kid's happy after they've been dragged round the shops by mum!)

And there's a huge department store (a bit like Debenhams) called Boyner
http://www.boyner.com.tr/

(sorry it's blurry - you're forbidden to take pics there and the security guard was looking at me so it was some undercover photography )

Look like a great place to shop.... just wonder if Starbucks & KFC are the only American businesses there?

P.S. I see your still enjoying lovely Turkey while keeping up your shop till you drop rep.
