Exclamation Is War Imminent?

http://www.turkishdailynews.com.tr/a...?enewsid=85759

This subject has been worrying me for the past few days. It's been major news on BBC World, CNN and Al-Jazeera. According to today's newspapers the decision whether Turkey will enter N.Iraq or not will be made after Bayram.

Turkey's current relationship with the US is strained to say the least because of the Armenian Genocide subject (did it happen or didn't it?). Also the US has cautioned Turkey regarding the PKK/N.Iraq situation and has told Turkey not to go across the border. Apparently Iraq says it will retaliate if Turkey goes in.

So we'll just have to wait until after Bayram to see what happens. I hope for everyone's sake that it won't happen but the turkish government is under enormous pressure at the moment to retaliate in the wake of 15 soldiers killed on Sun/Monday.

Turkey will take some actions... Military knows how to do that.

Quote:
Turkey will take all the necessary measures to counter terrorism, up to and including a a cross-border military operation, the Anti-Terror Supreme Board said after a three and a half hour long meeting in Ankara Tuesday.

“We have instructed all concerned institutions to take every type of legal, economic and political measures - including a cross-border operation— in order to put an end to the presence of the terrorist organization in a neighbouring country,” a statement issued after the summit said.

I've been reading about these moves for the last few days, I really hope it doesn't happen.

Some of my friends are currently doing their military service and we worry about their safety everyday as it is.

Is there any other solution?

Of course there is another solution;

these lil terrorists want our country, should we give up and donate our country?

It needs global struggle against terrorism, the PKK terrorist organisation is doing lot of monkey businesses, such as drug smuggling, forcing people to donate money AND opening innocent looking organizations to collect money in Europe...etc. All EU countries and US should back and support Turkey's fight against terrorism, thats only the way...

I completely agree with you Umit, it's about time the EU and US united with Turkey to deal with these terrorists.

Turkey is angrey that America does not take action against the PKK in Iraq.
Israel is allowed to pursue terrorists in other countrys with American blessings why not Turkey ?
America has also upset Turkey by passing the first step of the Amenian bill.
Should Turkey decide to act there is little America could do as Turkey has a vast army.

As i understand it a lot of terrorists deal in drugs-if america has the ability to see a mouse from outer space and all sorts of hi-tech spy planes, why is it that they cannot find a bright red poppy field and obliterate it??kibris

The popular plan is "Great MiddleEast Projest" recent days.

According to this plan US and the EU want to capture all petrol sources of middleeast.

For example
* US attacked the Irak why, they claimed that there were nuclear weapons. Did they found any of Nuclear weapons at Irak? Of course NO.
* US captured the Aphganistan why They again claimed that Usame Bin ladin was there. Did they find Usame at Aphganistan? Of course NO.

These were just a excuse to start capture the middle east. Also EU helped US to capture both Aphganistan and Irak.

11th September attackes were a start of these Middle East Project. I will explain now how.

1) World Trade center were collapped but no jewish people were died. According to the records about 2000 jewish (amount of people can be wrong I don't remember well) was working there.

2) They claimed that the pilots of the planes were muslim and arabic origin and they announced their names at the news. Later these mans come into existence at their country one year later and at the passanger list, their names were not at the list.

Anyway after these terrible terrorism US start to attact firsf Aphganistan and later Irak without any strong clue. US just announced that they were fighting with torrorism where are they Now ?

The events which were occurs these days in Turkey are a plan.
These are just a game which play over turkey. They wanted that turkey will come across with US and EU so they will have a excuse to capture Turkey. So they will have a excuse to attact or out down Turkey.

Well i dont think the US or EU want to attack or take over Turkey..i think they see Turkey as a bridge between west and east and hopefully a country which may help settle the middle east problem.
I also think the oil in Turkey is of great interest to the US and getting a pipe line through Turkey although this is never mentioned !!!
