Default Izmir electrical shopping

While there are some great posts on Izmir shopping centres and we all know about Ikea and Practica.
Does anyone know the location of any big electrical/furnature factory discount centres or are the prices largly the same as Kusadasi by the time you drive there or get delivery home from Izmir to Kusadasi ?

If you leave the airport and head towards the motorway for kusadasi you'll see an industrial furniture area on the right hand side, a little while before entering the tolls.
The area name is kISIKoy, and there's a little roundabout for the turning. As most of the furniture is made there, you can find some really nice things and also they are willing to make to your specification, size or colour.
As it is not a main road area, you can park and walk around...all the shops run through parallel 'streets'.
For electricals I don't know, I would try the new, huge koc tas (B/Q) in balcova , Izmir.

goodluck,
Charlotte

Yes as Charlotte said you should try the B&Q in Balçova..it's HUGE!

I wouldn't know how to get to it by car though, so can't help with directions..

There's also a B&Q in Bornova

I have heard of small industrial areas that are ideal for furnature ect.
As Izmir is the nearest big town the more infomation about the kind of places Turkish people use the better.
After all Turkish people seem to love gadgets but they are unlikely to pay the inflated prices that tourist places quote.
