LOST PUPPY
At the "Bring & Buy" (flea market) sale on Monday a beautiful little puppy arrived at our stalls, stayed all day and eventually came home with us. She is NOT a stray, is about three months old and housetrained. This puppy has been much loved and we hate to think of anyone going through "hell" trying to find her. She, Susy, as we have called her is beige with white legs and wide white band round her neck. We think she may have come from the Guzelcamli area as she was clean and well fed. We are falling in love with her and she has settled in with our dog "Muffin" and cat "Dost". If no one claims her we will adopt her. ring Di Fraser 02566815788 haggis |

Hi Folks,
Well, it does look as though "Suzy" the little lost puppy was a throw-away after all. How can anyone do this ? Hopefully by next year we can prevent this happening to these animals as when we have the shelter we will be able to house them over the winter. Unfortunately it looks like it is too late to do much this winter and, sadly, lots of animals will be "culled" in the spring. One of the reasons being given is that "tourists" don"t like the strays being around when they come on holiday ! This, if true, is a very bad reason for cutting these creatures lives short !!! We are, at the moment, whilst waiting for the shelter project to get started, are discussing with the vet, about starting the spaying and neutering in the next week or two, the Mayors of Guzelcamli and Davutlar having said they will help to set up a surgery. The vet is fully qualified with five years in University but has had no "surgery" to perform operations. This should pervent many animals being "put down" as the ears will be marked. Otherwise this would be a worthless exercise. Suzy is well and has settled in and is loved by Muffin, (our dog) and Dost (our cat). She is very well behaved. haggis ![]() |

Suzy is a beautiful little puppy, we saw her today and spent quite a few hours in her company and must say she seems to be the perfect pet. She certainly is a lucky puppy and has a brilliant loving home now thanks to Di and Pete.
