Question Flight Prices - Going Up Up & Away!!!!

Does anyone know of any reasonable flight prices to either Izmir or Bodrum from either the Midlands or London areas for the May bank holiday time.We own property in Davutlar & Ladies Beach but are horified by the flight prices of B.A. etc.,Are there any more "down to earth" airlines that wont charge you an arm or a leg for the priviledge of holidaying in Turkey?

The school holidays are always expensive to fly.

try www.skyscanner.net & also www.holidaysupermarket.com both will search many different airlines & give you the cheapest options.

Sunexpress & Cyprus Turkish airlines fly from Stansted directly into Izmir.

Onur air (bookable thru www.h4u.co.uk & http://www.aegeanflights.com/ ) fly into Bodrum from a few different locations, but they do tend to consolidate / cancel flights if they dont have enough bums in seats.

to get cheap flights with the scheduled airlines like BA you have to book really far in advance (as much as 9mths)

We use aegeanflights, however, the earlier you book, the better the price.
Goldtrailholidays is another option to try.
