![]() Dalyankoy (meaning fishpond village) is a coastal village, and nestles in a sheltered deep water inlet in the northern part of Cesme. Some call it as "the Bosphorus of Çeşme". The sea has formed a natural harbor getting slowly into the land in Dalyanköy. A life in Dalyanköy is one in harmony with nature, far from all kind of chaos and noise. While the Northern Aegean Sea is getting rough, fishing boats and sailing boats are enjoying tranquility in this bay. It is well known as a fishing village. The best fish restaurants of the region dominate the quay of its busy marina. You cannot swim in its recession, however there are enjoyable and clean swimming places around it. Kocakarı beach and Sakızlıköy are the leading ones. The modern designed Sisus Hotel is situated in the fabulous fishing village of Dalyanköy. It's a very quiet, and beautiful place, worth checking out if you're in the Cesme area. ![]() There's a famous story about a Dalyankoy Fisherman that fell in love with a Greek girl, you can read it: Here |
