Hi everyone
I want to come over to Kus in March next year to sus out a couple of houses and see what it's like out of season.
I'm having trouble finding flights.
Would it be easier to fly to Istanbul and get a connecting flight or bus, or is there a more direct and cheaper way. I'll be flying from Bristol and don't really want to tudge up to London.

from Bristol you will need to travel via Istanbul (or at least 1 other city ..ie Amsterdam & Istanbul with KLM)

drive down to Gatwick & you can get a direct flight into Izmir with BA

I always find Bristol is more expensive to fly from, just to say if you fly from Gatwick you can get the train from temple meads to gatwick with just one change in Reading my sister in law said it was really easy and cheap aswell.
British airways go Gatwick to Izmir for march its about £163.00.
You cant go direct form Bristol to Istanbul KLM fly via Amsterdam, i always find i prefer to travel here instead of when i get there but i have 2 children who have normally driven me mad by the time we land.
I have just got flights to istanbul from london(Swiss airlines) for about £117.00 per person which is really good, i dont know what they are like but i will soon find out.

I dont think they have sorted out the flights yet, every site I try is telling me that they will be available shortly.

Rhona you should be able to book March flights .. we're booking up to september 08 already

We are booked with aegean flights for Feb. to Bodrum, albeit from Manchester. Very difficult to get flights from Scotland in the winter.
We got these for £ 78 each....bargain!!! Also booked for the summer. in-laws also got flights for October .....
