Default Dentists

Can you just go to a dentist here in Kus and get a check up done with a polish and clean of teeth? Do u have to book first or can u just turn up? Any idea how much it costs? Any Dentists recommended would be appreciated...

Jules

I went to ADA dentists (on the boulevard road, opposite the Marina) They were very good, spoke English and the dentist surgery was spotlessly clean. They are pretty well known as they do special holidays with a company called Dental Journeys where people come over to Kusadasi just to get their teeth done. I didn't book an appointment but it would probably be best to.

There are a few threads on dentists: here and here

while on hols in kus last summer chloe fell while walking at our pool and broke her front tooth, its an adult tooth and we went to the dentist my hubby goes to .he is at the corner of the ptt opposite the public phones and up the stairs, i was in a complete panic as we didnt know any one to help and my hubby who was at home told us to go to him i have to say he was great, he was brilliant at helping a sobbing 6yr old and me too , he took x rays and told us not to worry as the tooth was not broken just a small chip at the bottom but the root was fine and he gave us a follow up x ray 4 weeks later and said she was lucky it was a good break with no damage to the tooth ,he told me he would not do any work as she was too young and her tooth was still growing and maybe when she was 10 or older he would reccommend cosmetic work then,he was brilliant and all it cost was 30 euro and he told me that any dentist who was willing to give cosmetic work on a 6 yr old was wrong, i can get his name if you like

Hi There, I also have been to Fuat. After many times of backing out, but just reading the threads on Dentists I eventually took the plunge last October and had a bridge done with clean and whitening and seriously, did not feel a thing. I would highly recommend him and his contact is on the forum somewhere, it's where I got it. Just search Fuat + Dentist. He has excellent English, picked me up for my first visit, as we are in Davutlar and his wife and assistant are very helpful. Never seen a cleaner Dentist, even here in Ireland and you were the plastic covers on your shoes, as you enter. Lorna

Following on from my first thread, firstly thank you for all the replies. We are looking at having a check-up with teeth polished, not whitened, and wondered if anyone has had this done?

Hi,

Found his wife very good, but didnt rate him at all. He rushed through the treatment, I said I was in pain and he just continued. Wouldnt give me an anaesthetic. I was in a bit of a state. His wife very nice, made sure she treated me the next time I was there as she started the treatment originally and I had paid 1st day. But I wouldnt rush back.

I agree with Bella, his wife is much nicer and very gentle. He does rush the treatment which I am not used too.
There are so many dentists in this town and all are pretty good I am sure.
I had a Danish client who went to Semi Sener on Inonu Bulvari for a clean and polish and he was very happy with him.
