Yesterday lunch time Umit and I went to the Bul Bul restaurant.
Outside in the car park was a stray cat with a broken leg trying to walk. The bone was clearly sticking out and it was bloody, it was not a pretty sight and it looked very painful. Not happy with leaving it there to suffer... the first person we thought of was Haggis and her clinic. Luckily we had our old cat's carrying case in the car, so we got some bits of meat from our lunch and managed to get the injured cat into the cage. She was as good as gold and didn't even get scared, we became quite attached to her, even in a short period of time. To cut a long story short, we drove to Davutlar with the cat and went to the Koru Beni clinic. Haggis (Di) has just let us know that Hakan, the vet, amputated the cats leg as it was broken in several places but she was wide awake and eating, so that's really good news, I'm so happy the cat is well. I did name it Percy, but I think she is female ![]() Thanks to the Koru Beni for saving yet another lovely animal! ![]() |

I am so glad we brought the cat to "Koru Beni" clinic, she is really so cute and calm cat.
Thank you "Koru Beni" and Haggis.

Yes the little cat "Percy" is doing very well. I was at the Clinic today and he/she is quite happy. As she can"t walk yet she is still in her cage and I forgot to ask her sex ! However, she is eating well and has settled down.
Ira the assistant says she seems tame, but nervous. so she should make a lovely "house cat". Will keep you informed of her recovery, haggis |

Yes, she is a beautiful little cat, but is a bit scruffy at the moment. she will have a treat at the beauty parlour (the shower room at the Clinic) when she is well enough. Wait till you see her photo on here soon, you won"t recognise her and she will be up for adoption to a good safe home.
She is making a good recovery, haggis |

It is also an aggravating story. The cat was in a very bad condition and even if we took a photo, we wouldn't publish the image because it would be disturbing for visitors.
How come the restaurant didn't call any vet and ask for help? I asked a waiter at Bul Bul what happened and can he didnt help me to put him into cage, but he said, "we know, but it is not our cat". So let the cat die? Davutlar local gov supports the Koru Beni clinic, Kusadasi local gov does something similar? (By the way, did you see Kusadasi Belediye do something similar for public? Deliver such service? I never see).
