Question Good picnic spots?

Hi

I don't always want to go to the beach, especially when the sea isn't quite warm enough yet for the little one to swim in.

So, can anyone recommend any good spots for a picnic, that are suitable for children?

It really frustrates me that there isn't a decent park in the centre of Kuşadası

Thanks in advance,
Jo xx

Hi Jo,

The only place I can think of that's suitable is The National Park, beautiful surroundings and picnic benches. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you some ideas of somewhere more central.

Slightly off topic, but...the Turkish people make me laugh with their picnics, here in Izmir if there's an inch of grass available, the whole family will be sat having a feast on it.

Thanks Mella...we will go to the National Park over the summer, but just wanted something a bit more central for tomorrow.

Hi Ant, thanks for reminding me of this place, I went there a couple of years ago, and had forgotten about it completely. Might just try it again tomorrow.

Any more ideas gratefully received!
