Default Exchanging money

Hi what are the exchange rates like for the pound to Turkish lira? Do they change much?
Where would you say is the best place in the UK to exchange your money? i was thinking of changing it at the local travel agents. Cheers

Dont change yyour money in Britain, you get a much better price in the resort.
There are loads of money exchange offices. The rate changes a little day to day so when its a bit higher try to change more.
If you have a Nationwide or PO account its free to use the ATMs.
I always take about 20 Euro, or lira if I have any left for the first day's expenses like when you stop for a coffee break between the airport and hotel, but they will accept english notes too.
I take english bank notes and change them as I need them then use the ATMs.

Yea they do.
You still have loads of time so open a Nationwide one.
£100 deposit to open the account.
I did this 10 days ago as the one I have Im using for something else and the new one was up and running within 8 days.
Just use it as a holiday account, its handy too for saving for your holiday throughout the year : )
