My husband likes to indulge himself when on his jollys. The deal usually goes something like this. I go shopping he goes to the kuaffor and has a haircut and a Turkish shave. In Marmaris we found this tiny barber full of other Turkish men and not only did he get a haircut, a shave, his ear hair burnt they also gave him a massage afterwards, is there anywhere in Kusadasi you could recommend to him?

There are hundreds in Kusadasi,but shop around as some are a lot more expensive than others.

if you come up from the sea through the arch do not under any circumstances use the barber in the little shopping arcade on the left.he is a complete rip off merchant,i use the one on the 1st lane into the kaleci upfrom the sea on the left 2 buildings after avlu restaurant he does a good job and does not charge a fortune

Best thing I can say is when you find a guy you like the look of then make sure you get a price from him. But be very careful as some add on a massage, wash, and ear burn etc. I know been ripped of myself, what i think might be a good idea is get a price and pay him up front, then sit in the chair.

Best cheapest barbers are the ones in Selcuk near the market centre.

A very good one in Kusadasi is the one just up from the Turkish delight shop opposit the town hall about 50 mtrs in the direction of the the court house. Its on the left as the main street widens

Last year he paid about 7 lira.
