ok ours is 20mins walk to the beach, but was less than a 1/4 of the cost, fully furnished and the same floor space.
Or for free, our 4 beautiful kittens who are now very loving young cats. |

Sorry Alice, I think I win. In 1995 I went to Içmeler (near Marmaris) with a friend who lured me away from the Greek islands for my first time to Turkey. We had a great deal; B&B in a small hotel for a week for £99 including flight & transfer. There I met Gülperi who I married 17 months later. £99? a bargain I'd say. Although on reflection it was probably the most expensive holiday I've ever had!

The best bargain I've ever bought here was my crazy dog Arnie! You can even haggled over the price in a pet shop here.

God so many bargains - jewellery, clothes, bags, leather etc etc.
But the best one (and I know it sounds corny) is the years of friendship I've had from my Turkish and Dutch friends - we have seen each other through a lot and they are always there for me |

I agree Susan, it has to be the friendships, they cost nothing and are worth the earth.
The gold isn't to be sniffed at either, not that I have found it cheap, just really nice and unusual. |
