Meze platter to share (in my opinion the best mezze found anywhere) served with pide
Mixed meatball for main course (selection of different flavours and also mozzerella stuffed meatball)
and order ayran from here.. they make it fresh and its delicious.

If you haven't tried this restaurant before, please give it a go.. It upsets me when i don't see this restaurant busy because it deserves to be packed every night. I think its just in the wrong position tucked away behind charisma.

Oh and they also do breakfast.. wonderful' Turkish village breakfast!

We ate here the other night and were stuffed! my husband had soup then we ate mezze platter, ı had mixed meatball, husband ate mozzerella stuffed meatball, we had butter beans and homemade chips, 2 ayran and bottle of water.. Bill came to an unbelievably cheap 45ytl!!!!! and everything was soooo fresh and presented well!.. ok plug over now))

Anybody knows what happened to Köfte & Köfte Restaurant?
Drove past it a couple of days ago and noticed it's gone?
Did it move to another location, hopefully somewhere in Kusadasi?
Their Website doesn't work anymore, help please, it was my favorite place for köfte!

We had a fantastic meal in Antepli and then, attracted by the live music, went into Köfte and Köfte.

The service was great and a beautifully decorated plate of fruit soon arrives.
We had a real shock when we were presented with the bill. The fruit,which we hadn't asked for cost 30TL, and the drinks were twice the price of the neighbouring restaurants. We would have protested more strongly had we not had guests with us.

Never again.

Antepli definitely yes, Köfte & Köfte a very big NO NO!

And we thought we were too streetwise to be ripped off!!

Thanks for sharing your poor dining experiance at this restaurant. This will make us more vigilent and avoid these sleezy places. This type of scam is so common there especially during the season. One must refuse niceties like 'fruit platter' or 'complimentary drinks' without clarifying if that's an add on to the final bill. I know it may look tacky or cheap in the presence of your guests, but it can save you cash, hassle and the terrible feeling of getting scammed.
Similar scams are serving a never ending supply of water whether you request for it or not and charging an unreasonable amount, inflating the final bill with some frivolous items added on and short changing the balance due back from the final bill. All of this has happened to me once but now I have my guards up always. Yup. The problem is that only such bad experience can really give you the awareness.

What is the point of complaining about a place that doesn't exist anymore?
Köfte & Köfte is taken over, you'll never get "ripped off" there again!
Prices for food and drinks were clearly visible on the menu on each table, always better to check first than complain later!
And if something is brought to your table that you didn't order, then don't accept it!

Just because of the fact Kofte & Kofte or any other establishment were taken over, does'nt mean that they would cease to be 'rip off' places. I am assuming Alan's bad experiance was a recent one and may have happened under the new management's watch. Whatever the facts are, my comments were generally to discuss awareness while dining out.
