Hello everyone,
my parents and myself are about to travel to Kusadasi for the first time ever in mid-July, but we simply can't make up our own minds. Previously we went to Bodrum (Gumbet) and had accomodation at WOW Bodrum Resort. Two years after,we went to Antalya (Aksu - Kundu) and spent great holiday at IC Green Palace Hotel. Both these hotels were Ultra All Inclusive. ![]() It's time for Kusadasi now, and we have a hard choice to make between
Now all these hotels have small details that do bother us a bit. KoruMar hasn't got a decent beach, at least if you ask me, and spending my holiday on concrete is not what I want to do. Imbat has a beautiful beach, but everyone here says that it's pretty old hotel, and hasn't been renovated for a long time. Besides that it appears to be 4* resort only. Pine Bay looks great, but someone told me that one should always look for hotels in centre or relatively close, so I am uncertain how much money will I have to spare for going to Kusadasi centre every evening and getting back after midnight (when there are no dolmuses). Also after experiencing Aksu, I would not like to stay isolated from the city and all the things that do happen in cities. A possible solution is Grand Blue Sky, but I heard that everyone is mad about the way they treat guests if they carry bags when returning from outside the hotel. It's OK to check the bags, but they are taking it too seriously. I've seen that there are some people from Kusadasi at the forum and some who visited Kusadasi for many times, so any suggestion or feedback would be great. Just to note that we do preffer all inclusive 4/5* star hotels due to the fact that food and drinks cost a lost on half board basis. And also since I am <26 and my parents over 50 I would like to be at hotel where there is also a reasonable number of <30 people with whom I could spend time and get to know. |

Been to Kouromar and Pine Bay they both are nice but Pine bay is the best it has its own beach and really nice pool and the accomadation are in bungalows be warned that you have to pay for some international drinks and the spirit all inclusive is quite limited haviing said that the food was good and the quality of the hotel is excellent very good health club there where you can have a Turkish Bath great!!!!

Hi,
I have been to all three of the hotels and I must agree with the others: Pine Bay will be the best choice ! Food is great and the hotel is build on a hill with very nice views and offers all kinds of comfort. Korumar is Ok but I have already heard from some friends that the service level has dropped this year. And as you already heard: Imbat is an older hotel but I must admit I have been there in May and although the hotel may be older than most of the other 4 and 5 stars in Kusadasi I thought the service and the friendliness of the staff was sublim ! And I have no complaints about food, drinks or accomodation. To be honest I would choose this hotel again for a next holiday. But given the hotels you have been to before I think Pine Bay will best suit your wishes. Pine Bay is out of centrum but most of the nice, large all inclusive hotels are outside Kusadasi centrum. In daytime you can get easily a dolmus to the centre which will cost you about 2 - 3 TL. After midnight you will have to rely on the taxi to get back to your hotel but they are not that expensive I guess. I don't remember the exact prices but I believe we paid around 18 TL to get back to the hotel ! Maybe we had to pay more because I always wanted to go yavas yavas !Maro |

My family is once again thinking about booking Grand Blue Sky International, but I'm not quite fond of that hotel. I was going through some German and UK reviews and most people were very critic about the way the security workers treat the guests when entering the hotel (Grand Blue) in search for food and beverages (bought outside the hotel). Also some people state that the staff wasn't much friendly and helpfull at all. I mean it is OK to check the people, but not in such manner to make me uncomfortable. I would be very thankfull if people living or working in Kusadasi could comment these facts that I had read about. ![]() Another fact is really interesting and that is the pricing. We're having Pine Bay offer for 10 days and the other mentioned hotels for 11 days. If the Pine Bay had that one day more, the price would have been the same as for Grand Blue Sky International. Grand is the most expencive one in offers here in Serbia, but perhaps it's worth that money? Yesterday evening, we eliminated KoruMar, because of its not pretty beach, although most odds were for KoruMar in the first place. Regarding Imbat, a University mate of mine was there 4 years ago and he said that it had been OK and that the Imbat Beach was the best in Kusadasi (I suppose that he meant hotel beaches, not public ones). However, even withing Tour Operators here, we were warned that Imbat is quite old hotel. |

Hi,
I have also heard some bad comments already about Grand Blue Sky but it seems a very nice hotel to me anyway. But I think you should take Pine Bay, still the best choice ! What other hotels do they propose in Serbia ? Maro |

2*up to 5* hotels and resorts. One can have a 13 day holiday in Kusadasi for just as 290 EUR with half board. Prices are lower, because the trip to Kusadasi is by bus (about some 20 hours). Charter flight adds 140 EUR to the prices + 18 EUR fuel tax (introduced by JAT Yugoslav Airlines). |

I had a friend stay in the Grand Blue sky last summer.
She only has good things to say about it! it is a beautiful hotel with a lovely beach, and it is walking distance to ladies beach also. Alot of the hotels do not like you bringing in water, food etc from outside the hotel, as they sell (at a premium) in the hotels themselves. before my friend had booked the hotel, we also heard that bags were searched etc, she never saw this happen during her 2 week stay, & also said that the staff were all very friendly & helpful! ![]() |

Thanks Claire.
I am personally not being affected with the search for unallowed food/drinks since most tour operators here sell the hotel as All-inclusive. But my dad, finds that treatment a bit stupid. However, the odds are slowly gathering around and for Grand Blue Sky Hotel. |
