Does anyone have a clue on how long it takes to send
postcards or packages to Kusadasi from Notheren Europe/E.U Countries?

Are there any precautions I should take
i.e enclosing postcards in envelopes etc.

i had sent my package to Germany last winter, and it took 2 weeks.

yep 10 days to get somthing to kus last week from england , it would be qwicker to use smoke signals

I sent a parcel 3 weeks ago to merlin ..& he still hasnt recieved it

when i post letters / cards to izmir, they usually take about 2 weeks ...parcels seem to take a lot longer & sometimes never arrive!)

Ouch doesn´t sound so reliable then. I´m going to stuff the postcard into an enevelope. Now I´m not so certain about that T-shirt I want to send to Panorama. Hmm, a shot of me and my friend´s ugly mug might suffice until I return. (can imagine the expression on their faces -a "what the hell is this - bloody turists" look.

I sent Sami a Valentines card to Izmir in Feb for Valentines, he got the damn card in April and i never got mine so the next time for my birthday he sent me 5 cards in case 4 didnt get to me!

I dont ahve very much faith in the postal system in Turkey ha ha

Nor me Shannon, my valentines card never arrived to the UK either ...but the parcel i sent did get to Izmir, sent it 3 weeks before valentines, it arrived 2 days before!!


never can tell, never sand anything of value, as it probably wont get there!!

I must admit tho...if i send to a business address it tends to arrive, a home address if when i have problems

Thats true Claire, i was gona send a nice present before, and Sami was gonna send me a ring in the post, but i said no cos i knew i wouldnt get it!
