Hi All,

Just wondering what Kusadasi is like for shopping. I know it is renowned for good designer fakes and carpets but what about casual clothes and clubbing clothes. Would you recommend buying all your holiday stuff before you go or try and go with an empty suitcase.

I wouldnt personally go with an empty suitcase.... Im too fussy, go with plenty to keep you going but leave room to bring back some goodies with you...

It is really cheap and they have some fantastic shops.... I would definately recommend a day shopping in Aydin or Izmir as well as Kusadasi....

id recommend taking your essentials like a few clothes swimwear and straighteners lol, but u can buy shampoo n all the beauty products there and you can gorge on new clothes too but i do say take a few clothes already! but if u only take a few u still gota lot of room for new ones! the shopping is great in kusadasi theres so much to choose from! xx

Theres a huge huge new shopping mall with billions of designer shops at the port where the Ephesus Princess docks but im not sure if its just for the rich people on the ships. Turkish people cant go in there but i think tourists can, its GINORMOUS

Kus is fab for cheap fake designer gear and SHOES! Loads of shoes and if you can make it to Izmir, the shopping is FAB! God, havent been shopping in ages.....

Theres this little town between Kusadasi and Foce, Izmir and its called Menemem and i dont know if any of you guys will go out of your way to get there but WOW!!! I got like 5 pairs of shoes for 15 euro, this place is a real little find for shoppers bigtime, they have everything you could ask for at beautiful prices ha ha

Because cruise passengers are a funny bunch

Seriously do your shopping in Izmir and also at the gigantic market at Selcuk (only 20 min away on the Ephesus Dolmus). Prices are much more reasonable outside of Kusadasi and there is much less hassle!
