Hi

Can anyone advise the best way to get from Izmir airport to Kusadasi? My sister (a v. inexperienced traveller) is heading there in a few weeks and needs some pointers.

Get A Taxi And Haggle The Price Before You Get In. Also If She Is Staying In A Hotel In Kusadasi Most Of Them Will Organise Transportation From The Airport. She Will Have No Problem Getting There As There Are Loads Of Taxis Outside The Airport But Check With The Hotel First. Transfers Can Aslo Be Organised On This Forum Umit(forum Owner Will Have All The Details

You could get a bus but you would have to go into the central bus station in Izmir and to be honest i wouldnt recommend it if she is on her own, simple because it is huge, the size of an airport. But the people are very helpful there!

The other option is a taxi from Izmir Airport to Kusadasi, but is she is on her own, this may cost her £80 approximately! The taxi rank is right outside the airport exit!

I went and pıck up frıends a few tımes from Kusadası to Izmır Aırport and the prıces are app. Euro 40 .... now you know dont pay more then that at the aırport!! But there are loads of transfers to thınk thats a lot cheaper

If she's travelling from the UK with Thomas Cook, she can get a transfer with them for fourteen pounds return.
