as a Turkish guy who used to live with terrorism and its badness like bombings, caos .... i would like to tell somethings to our English friends.

First off; the terrorism has only one aim: scare people! They know that they can not achieve more than that.

Terrorists want to bring caos into cities and countries. and now Global Terrorism want to bring caos into whole globe. Please dont forget that their primary aim is not to kill people, but as i said above they have worse aim: scaring people and kill their happiness.

Please do not change your daily life, habits... like using transportation system vehicles, visiting nice places...etc.

about 15 years ago, when i was a child; i was living in Istanbul and i was at my school with my friends in my class. while we were listening our teacher, we heard horrific voices from the street. Terrorist bombed a huge mall where just near of our school and then we heard lots of police vehicle sirens. We didnt stopped our lesson with commonsense and then, when i come back to house, i watched terrible news, more than 17 died in that terrorist attack. What i am trying to tell you is please put your commonsense to stop terrorists aim.

Unfortunately; terrorism may succeed their aims in short term. Remember 2 years ago, Istanbul blasts... Many tourists had canceled their trip to Istanbul which was wrong and that was terrorists aim.

I am not sure what London citizens react to this blasts. But I hope they put their commonsense. As i am observed from TVs, London is now peaceful and there is no any caos in this great city. Thats great.

How can we stop terrorism?
we should stop the feeds of fundamentals of this terrible terrorism. But i dont know how we can stop that...

As a country, Turkey, and as its citizens; our sympathies go out to everyone in London.

Yes Umit, Sami says over the last number of years upto 30,000 turkish people were killed in terrorist attacks! I find it dispicably amusing that these attacks did not make the same kind of news as when it happens in the Western World!

But i just wanted to say, some people were saying on the news, we have in a way been lucky! Realistically, the attacks on the underground could have killed thousands but it hasnt HA! So the attack hasnt had the effect the crazies would have desired! Especially when its compared to what happened in US, 5000 dead!

They are not going to get their way, in the end they will be stopped! The world is so crazy right now! Who are these people??!!! Are they even human! I mean i can understand people fighting for things like freedom and justice as a last resort but this is just mindless slaughter. We've had AL Quada attacks on America, Spain, UK...who's next...Italy? Because there will be someone next! Until these people are stopped. But i for one as Umit said, am not gonna let them scare me from the normalities of daily life!

Yes You Are Right Nobody Can Take Away The Strength Of The Human Spirit. Terrorsists Are So Named As Shannon Said To Bring Fear Into Everyones Lives But Although They May Indeed Incur This The Human Spirit Is So Strong That In The End These People Will Not Succeed. We Have Lived With Terrorism In Ireland For Decades And Look Where We Are Today A Completely Changed Country

I would like to say that we should all try to keep our common sense and to realise that victims are not ethnical but human, we shouldn't hate anyone just because they belong to a different nation or religion, there are idiots and bad people in every religion and we should unite against evil in general. Trust me, I know what the war feels like and what it feel likes to be bombed for 78 days, feeling totally helpless, not being able to change anything... Life must go on.
