I reckon it's time to start a new thread about transport in Kus.
What's everyone think about the Dolmus service finishing at midnight?
Personally we don't have a problem as our house is only a two minute taxi ride from Bar Street n costs no more than about 4 or 5 million tl.at the most. And especially as we have a friend who's a taxi driver n makes sure we get home safe whatever condition we're in. But for anyone living or staying a bit further out of town it can add up over a two week holiday.
Anyone any views on Dolmus running into the early hours ?

I think that some sort of service should run even just the hour or 2 that bar street is closing. Last year, we walked out to Ladies Beach every night which was about 30 mins! Mind you, we enjoyed the walk A nice sobering experience for everyone and good exercise!

A you well know, im not a crazy alco, il tell ya one thing though, you would be totally wrecked over there wouldnt you! I would have loved to just fly back to Ireland, sleep for 24 hours and then go back again! Id never been so tired in my life ha ha

Hey I just love the Raki n the craic. I agree with you that a twenty four hour sleepover n back to the action would be outa this world. Its a shame tho that the Dolmus don't run into the wee small hours

after 24:00, only few dolmuses may stay at service. it is so easy if local government want to make some arrangements.

Why are taxi's so dear in Kusadasi, our hotel was 15 minutes outside Hisarano last year, but never cost us more than 7 million.

Also why is car hire so dear in Turkey?.

I Agree with Umit, it wouldnt take a lot a few of the dolmus's to run in the early hours.

The taxis are expensive after midnight & if your paying this every night it can seriously eat into your spending money.
