Hi Danny / Sully

Welcome to the forum!!!

all of the reviews that i have read from the tusan have been varied as well.
ive just had a quick look on trip advisor & there are a few very recent posts on there, all stating what a fabulous holiday they had! there are also a couple not so good reports.

here

the resort is about 6km outside of Kusadasi, but the centrum & surrounding beaches are easily reached by the local dolmus buses.

there is lots to do around Kusadasi, have a look thu the forum & you will find lots of suggestions of the best places to eat, what to see etc.

enjoy Kusadasi!!

Its very hot at the moment, high 30's, early 40's.

so make sure you pack your high factor sun creams!

I think you will be fine at the Tusan, it has its own private beach & looks pretty good to me!

Most of the reviews ive read, all say that the hotel is 4 star, 4 star in Turkey isnt the 4 star we see over here, so expect a 2 -3 star standard hotel.

Danny,

we have a sister site that covers all the resorts in Turkey, & a few reviews on there would be very much apopreciated! http://www.maxiturkey.com/

as far as Turkish bath's (haman) go ..you shoudl treat yourself, for the experience if nothing else!
they are realy relaxing & should be done on the first few days of your holiday, they help to get rid of all your old (dead) skin, so its your new fresh skin that gets the suntan, therefore making the tan last a lot longer!
i did a review of my first turkish bath here

Normally prices are cheaper just outside the resorts, the central areas are always more expensive. (you probably found that in marmaris & icmeler)

there are some really good places to eat & drink in Kusadasi tho, so its worth a trip in a few nights while you are there!
