Ok here we go
I am 43 married and never been to Turkey before never mind Kusadasi. So where does everyone think would be the best places to visit at night for me and the oul ball and chain We both enjoy a drink, not to hot on the old karaoke, but always willing to give it a blast, as long as I am allowed to put my own words in ![]() ![]() Also have a few teenagers with us, so would like some info on places for them to goto. Some of them are 16/17, is there any problems with them getting into clubs and such like. What is general safety at night like? Especially for teenage girls. Hope I am not coming across as morbid, but this is our first family holiday abroad, apart from Florida 10 years ago, and I would just like to reassure myself that the place is as safe as anywhere else, which isn't saying much in this day and age. Apart from my fear of flying I am looking forward to going to Kusadasi. Who knows maybe me and the wife will make a return sometime on our own. A second honeymoon or something. Any help and suggestions appreciated apart from comments like: Catch yerself on ya big balleex ye Or the oul fav ![]() "Fer fuhsake catch yerself on ya fuggen goat ye..." Translates as: Look, you better review the situation. You look rather silly For anyone not sure how us Ulster folk talk check out here: High Till Speak Norn Iron |

Hiya Norn İron
Thanks for the link for "high til speak norn iron". After the day we had here in Kusadasi yesterday (it was also my birthday but that passed unnoticed) it was good to read something that made me laugh out loud! Alison |

Hi
that made me laugh also!! Where about are you staying in kusadadi (what area?) there are so many places for a good night out ... Bar street is good if you like loud music & a dance (& it is very busy) The Kaleci area (old town) is slightly less busy & also has some nice places to drink & socialise, the Limon bar is a favorite of many of the forum members. My favorite area is Ladies beach, & there are many places to eat & drink there. Somewhere else is very popular, as well as Dream boys (your kids will enjoy it there). Your 16 / 17 year old wont have any problems getting into the bars, ive seen teeenagers alot younger in some of the places. I aslo think that the area is pretty safe for them to go out & enjoy themselves, also many of the bars are located in the same area, so if they didnt want to be seen with the oldies ( ) you can easily drink at a places a few bars down ![]() |

Cheers thanks for the tips, we are staying in the Ida Apartments. Looking forward to it, apart from the flights
Anyway I will be the one running around in my N Ireland football top, so if anyone from here spots one give me a shout. Just so no-one has to shout 'Hey NornIronFan' My name is John ![]() ![]() |
