Hi All

I am new to this forum but see a lot of people are travelling to Gumbet in July and August. My partner and me are travelling on Spetember the 3rd and are staying at Fuga Fine Times - just woundered if anyone else was travelling around this date or had stayed at Fuga before....?

Hey Lou,

Welcome to the forums! I have heard only good things about this hotel, and from looking at pictures it looks very nice indeed. Gumbet is really busy and banging with nightlife, but I think this hotel is just a little bit out of the way - near enough to walk to the center, but just far enough away to be out of the noisy area.

i would just like to warn anyone who is planning on going to the felix bar+resturant. i had been going to gumbet for a while when i met fikret (fico) i fell in love came home then was back living with fikret within two weeks i was over ther for 3 month and what i saw in the bar made me sick.the staff where made to go out with girls.one young boy,sadat 18, was sacked becous he woudnt have sex with this woman who was old and fat.they lads had different girlfreinds coming over every two weeks (mainly nick and bruno) they would charge regular customers for there meals and drinks then the next day convince them they hadnt paid and get there money again. they would reuse the ice + straws out of drinks and didnt have any hot water or washing up liquid in the bar area where they washed the glasses. they put the cheap local spirits in to the brand named bottles.but a good thing about it is the food that is the best food in gumbet.

hi ive just joined,and was reading ur posts and yea u are right bout felix staff.going to gumbet 5 years now and know all the guys that work there.ive seen it myself where they make the young guys go with older wemon,i hear this year a lot of the staff have left and are now working in cocos.really dont like felix and yea the food is nice but the staff are all players,dont know about the food this year as the same chefs are not there either,dont think the chefs are players as they all in steady relationships and never saw them up to much,have to say thought fico was the decent 1 of them all never saw him up to anything with any1,take care,TRISH

I am very new to this site and what I have just read is very concerning. I know the Felix [u]very[u]well. Though I am not at liberty to divulge my interest. There seems to be some factual errors written here. May I point out rather than most of the staff going to work in Coco's there have in fact been only 2 Nick and Fico. As for the kitchen staff they remain the same except Mehmet who has stayed in his home town this season. Other staff are either currently serving in the army or have found alternative jobs this year, not unusual in the tourist business.

Contrary to some of the statements no-one has ever been sacked because they wouldn't sleep with someone nor are they expected to. Just for the record Bruno is currently engaged and due to marry this October. His girlfriend is living in Turkey and spent much of last year there two hardly providing opportunity for different girls to visit every 2 weeks.

I admit though behaviour from some of the boys is less than admirable however you will find very similar behaviour at beach resorts all over the UK and I am sure that my own brother has broken many a poor girl's heart in his time. Seasonal work provides the main income for most of the boys and they will go more than one step further to ensure that they and their families have a comfortable as possible winter.

My advice to any young girl is to treat the experience as a time old holiday romance, don't part with your hard earned cash unless you want to and above all remember that yes there will be others before and after you. I know this sounds a little harsh but such is life.

i have been visiting gumbet 4 the past 8 years now and have got to no all the lads from the felix within that time!! i have got 2 agree with kgill not 1 of them has been fired because of refusal 2 sleep with obese and ugly women. another thing i would like 2 point out, which is also common knowledge, i don't think it is possible 2 reuse ice. as in that heat it turns straight 2 water and also by the time people have got to the end of thier drink it has already melted anyway!!!
cavidan cingos, i think the only reason you have a problem with the felix is because things didn't work out between you and fico, and gumbet girl i bet a relationship with 1 of the lads didn't work out 4 you either!!! am i right??
fico is a decent guy, TRISH, and it seems 2 me that use two young ladies are jelous that fico has moved on from use, i agree that they have a lot of romances but who wouldn't living that life style!!
i have always enjoyed going 2 the felix and don't turn green with envy when i see an x with a girlfriend. i think the situation here has been pointed out and the best way 2 deal with this gumbet girl and cavidan cingos is 2 remember that your there for about 2wks a yr so leave it at that, as long as they treat you special, when you are there you have nothing 2 worry about because as we all no, its only a holiday romance!!!! PLZ TAKE NOTE ON THAT GIRLS!!!!

in responce to ur replys concerning felix,1st let me inform u im niether an x r jealous partner of any of the felix staff.and i dont go gumbet for 2 weeks of the year,i go to gumbet with my partner,and like every1 else im intitled to my opinion,can i ask have u read any of the other sites concerning these guys.not evry1 can be wrong jealous r jilted.i was present october last year wen 1 of the guys was put onto a much older lady.needless to say he didnt go but the fact remains he was asked,yea jack in army tj just recently finished army bruno engaged nick and fico in cocos,but there reputation followed them from wen they worked in olis,i cant comment on the ice incident but i can comment on the going ons of the guys.kemal chef married after last season and has 2 month old son.hassan chef married with children and mehmet chef stayed his home town this season maybe he caught himself on and got out of it.ask heather how jack beat her and hospitalised her.and karen their former boss how she was cheated.and tj whos been online to a friend of mine declareing his love and at same time asking for money,r just go on the other sites and read the warnings others have given believe me they all cant be jealous.trish
