I do really like Penelope Cruz and Katie Holmes, and find them very attractive but I voted for Nicole Kidman. I think she is the most elegant and natural beauty out of the 3. Infact I think she is one of the most elegant and beautiful women, Period. I really liked them as a couple, and thought it was such a shame when they broke up. When I was younger I adored Tom Cruise, I met him at Lego land in Windsor and he was lovely, really nice, down to earth guy and SO small hehe... he had his kids with him and they were really sweet...I used to watch his film Cocktail EVERYDAY with my best friend when I was younger, lol... But recently I don't know..I've gone off him a little because of certain things.

Anyway, short answer: Nicole Kidman.

See that 3rd pic..for the Chanel advert. Have you seen it on the tele? They used to play it here non stop. She looks SOOOOO beautiful in it. Really a timeless beauty! Also the way she composes herself is extreamly dignified..if that makes sense.

I totally agree with you, im not one for having idols in actors and actresses, my real heroes are people like Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko etc...but Nicole Kidman...and ive never thought it about any other actress either....the woman is PURE CLASS!!!

There is no other word to describe, its not just that she is beautiful and hugely talented, but like you were saying Mella, its her elegance, her grace, her dignity! She's not really like the others. She's my female hero!

If i could be like any woman, other than me, i would choose her! And everyone used to think she was an ice queen until she split with Tom, now everyone has seen how warm and funny she is! I always knew it, all ya have to do is watch "Far and away" to see her real humour! Shes amazing!

I remember after her and Tom split and Tom was going out with Penelope and now Katie, reading an article by a journalist who had just done and interview with Nicole. And basically this journalist said of Katie and Penelope that yes they are both beautiful girls, but regardless of any of that, they are just not in the same class as Nicole Kidman or the same league in any respect! She is timeless!

I know exactly what you mean Carmy, i used to love them as a couple and i thought they were great together. Nicole said after they divorced that one of the main sources of trouble in their marriage was her refusal being a Christian to get involved with the Church of Scientology. And on that note thats another reason i love her. She's so strong, she stood her ground. I mean seriosly, Tom and Katie have been together like 2-3 months and they're getting married. Fair enough if they are happy but this is the bit that gets me ggrrrr, and really sets Nicole apart form Katie. I used to like Katie but now i think she's a bit of an eejit!
Katie was born and raised a strict catholic and up until she met Tom, she alwaya spoke of how much her religion meant to her and how she planned to be a virgin till she got married bla bla, and what a good, honest girl she is with moral christian values from her family.....WELL...according to Katie, she is now studying the Church of Scientology (which was made up by a science fiction writer...HELLO) and apparently finds it all very interesting! Seriously, talk about stupid with absolutely no mind of her own. She plans to join the church for Tom!!!!! Screw him! Id tell him where to go!

To be honest i feel a bit sorry for Katie, she is obviously completely smitted with Tom and it seems like she will do anything he says, he has decided she should be called Kate instead of Katie too as he says its more mature!!!!! And she's happy enough to go along with all of it. I think they will end up divorced in the end! I used to really like Tom and i think hes a great actor, but hes really bothering me lately!

but I can see exactly why she's your favorite actors. She's in a different league from other celebs. I watched a programme all about the rise of her on E Entertainment channel and it was so interesting! She came across remarkably well, she just has the 'X Factor'..that something special about her that sets her miles above the rest. Even looking at her, she's so dignitifed and classy. Her personality is also SO lovely, she is so warm and softly spoken..
Although I loved Tom & Nicole together, their divorce was the making of her. I remember when she was married, she said ''I just feel so fortunate that I have found someone who will put up with me and stay with me'' (IMO Tom was the one that should be thankful) and Nicole claimed that, throughout her marriage to Tom, she'd been playing a supporting role, pushing his career before hers..which she obviously did as she was hardly prolific during that time..Tom is gradually going (only really getting known for his silly partners/quick engagements) yet Nicole is rising up. She really became like the rose that grew from concrete when they seperated, she came into her own and shone!

She sure did, its amazing really, i mean public opinion of Tom eally went downhill after he dropped Nicole, especially when she was pregnant! But its cool cos he went downhill, she shot to the top and she is still there.
