Just wanted to say that it was costing us 28YTL for 4 vodka and cokes in most places on bar street but in Kusadasi bar it was 36YTL! I thought I had been extremely drunk ang got it wrong so we went there again and yes, it was 36!

What i know, is the prices increased since may!!! But i pay in euros, so dont no if its because Turkish Lira's value. In may for one vodka Orange and one soda (Cola, Sprite or Ice Tea) i paid 6 euros. And in july, 7 euros everywhere, and more in sum bars like Orange Leuw!

Hi Shannon
Just thought i would add this....

We went down to bar street and into jimmys one night and got stung 15YTL for 2 efes and a coke, i thought this was ridiculous as it was much cheaper down at ladies beach. Anyway we haggled at the next few bars as they wanted us to go in and we managed to get 2 efes and a coke for 7TYL in the rest of the bars!!!
Just thought i would let you know that we haggled with the beer prices too and got a cheap night out, and a great one in bar street for that!!!

Maybe u no this but when we were in gumbet this yr the rep told us that due to taxs the bars had to up their alcohol prices by 30 per cent in Jan!

wow last year it was only 1YTL for sum water i dunno if that was bar street though but that it very helpful shan people cant complin abt prices if they know what they are letting themselves in for xxxx
