If they have read your meter and issued a bill as Alison says there is a fine for late payment.

If they cannot get in to read your meter ie if you are not there and the house is empty it should be ok until you get back.

Then you can take meter reading yourself and take it down to Tedas or whatever its new name is.

Don't they cut you off then? I suppose depends how late the payment is, after issuing the bill

Thumbs down Electric Bill

Sorry but yes they do cut you off, if they issue with a bill and you dont pay it and they come and issue you with your next bill, a few days after they will come and cut you off, and I know it happened to me and I only owed 35ytl on the previous bill and the next one was only 25ytl. Also if they do come to cut you off and you say sorry paying today, they will still charge you an extra 11.25 for reconnection and I know that because it happened to me on Friday, we told then the Electricity had not been cut but its because they send someone round to do it.

Yep happened to me also the actual fatura must of blown away we didnt know anything until they cut off the communal electric ! Cost 10 tl the next day to put it back on. (there was a weeks grace from the origional bill, till they cut it off )
Think we must of been spoilt by Tedas. As Aydem take no prisoners !!!!

We live here all the year round, but, from October to May, no electric meter reader comes anywhere near our sitesi (even though there are quite a few houses lived in all the year round). We've never been "fined" for late payment but we do get a hefty bill come May......which I've previously had a breakdown of to see if we were fined. So, as was said on another thread, make it up as we go along............
