Hey Paul,

Welcome to the forums!

Here's a review about the Melissa apartments; Click

Things you should do? Hmm, well if your goin on a lads holiday, I'm not sure you'll want to go on historic sightseeing trips. But if you do - Kusadasi is very well situated for them. There's Epheses, Pammukale ect. You guys might enjoy going on a boat trip, basically a booze cruise.

Have a look round the forum..You'll find loads of useful, helpful threads that will give you a good idea about whats on offer/best bars/restaurants ect.

Have fun!

-Carmella xox

Lol, Okay...

Well there are 3 aquaparks in Kusadasi...
1. Aquafantasy (Pamucak area - close to Tusan Beach)
2. Adaland (so closer to Tusan Beach Hotel)
3. Aqualand (in Longbeach area - 20km away from Tusan Beach)
Adaland website
Aqua Fantasy Website

I would deffo recommend Aqua Fantasy I loved it there!

Here's a wee thread on things to do.. Here

Cash..Hmm well it all depends on what you're going to be doing over there, how much you'll be drinking, if you go shopping.. (but your a geeza, so I doubt it heh)

Drinks in Bar Street..

Quote:
WATER -----> 3 YTL ( NEW TURKISH LIRA ) (1.80€)
SOFT DRINKS-----> 3 YTL
BEER-----> 6 YTL
MILLER----- > 7YTL
LOCAL DRINKS -----> 7 YTL
CIDER----- > 7 YTL
REDBULL -----> 6 YTL
WINE-----> 6 YTL
BUDWEISER-----> 8 YTL
BACARDI BREEZER-----> 10 YTL
IMPORT DRINKS-----> 8 YTL
And it's easy to convert it into euro's..I think it's 1 euro = 1.70 YTL

If you didn't bring enough with you...You can always use your bank card in the hole in the walls over there aswell, although it will cost you a small transaction fee.

Yeah, it has been said a few times on here by people that the prices have gone up a bit.

Obviously, bar street is where all the tourists go, so the prices there are generally higher than other places around town.

I'd say 1500 euro will be more than enough.

& Yeah - no doubt you'll meet tonnes of Irish & English I met loooooooads when I was there.

Have a great holiday & come back on here when ya get back and let us know how you got on!

Hiya Paul and welcome on here. Isn't Mella a fountain of knowlege?!

I stayed in Melissa on my very first trip to Kus. They are grand, clean, spacious enough AND the bar stays open all night long.

You will have a great time, I am getting a bit green here with jeaolusy!
