Just a trivial comment to share with you that at last I've finished to manage my holidays!!!

All day from one website to another and paying and paying and paying things with my poor old famelic Visa card...

At last, we are not going by ferry (but we'll do some day!!), because in the day I had to come back there was no room for my car... Anyway, we have found a very good offer with Iberia, in a direct regular flight between Madrid and Istambul. Well, Madrid is about 300 km away from Valencia, and Istambul about 600 km away from Kusadasi... But once you are able to arrive from Spain to Turkey, everything seems much easier...

Then we Onur Air to Izmir, get our rental cal there. I reccomend Hertz very much, about 35 €/day, brand new cars, and a very good service...

We will stay at Rosy Studios, mainly because I've read good critics here in the Forum -so if it's no good, I'll blame on some of you!!- But... now I realize... Anybody can tell me if these studios have kitchen? and/or fridge?

So I'll stay with a friend of mine in Kusadasi from August 11th to 20th, then we'll fly back to Istambul, will meet there with another friend who is at present working in Ankara, and we'll stay there for four days... Our very first idea was to go to the Formula 1 Grand Prix for seeing our Fernandito Alonso, but when we saw the prices of the entrances, we realized that Istambul surely has much better places where to spend that money, hasn't it? The problem is that it's my Ankara friend who is trying to find hotel in Istambul... but what he is finding so far is AWFULLY expensive... I'm finding much cheaper hotels in Istambul from Spain!! Well, the Istambul stage is the only in the air by now...

I just can't wait until then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im excited for you!!!

Istanbul is top of my list of 'must visit' places!!

You will not have time to watch the Formula 1, there is so much to see & do!!

The Rosy studios does have a small kitchen area & fridge
they have a website whuch shows you what the rooms look like!

The location of the Rosy is perfect! & the restaurant serves delicious food!!!

There must be affordable accommodation in Istanbul!!

So your driving all the way to Madrid. Phew. Well at least Iberia has a new terminal at Barajas and there´s a new terminal in Istanbul.
