Default Building cost

Anyone one have any idea of building costs in Kus. Land seems reasonable, is planning a problem in the area.

Any info would be most welcome.

Hi Rubab
Keith here just looking through the forum and you might be the one
To clear up a few things.

We have purchased a brand new apartment in kusadasi which we will be going out
Next year to furnish it. My question to you Rubab is the water systems in turkey.
Obviously quite different to the UK.
There is no water connection yet I believe next time we go out we pay for the connection, there is no hot water boiler in the apartment that is something that we have to supply, the apartment has two unions plus an electrical socket fitted In the bath room, where the boiler will be sited. There are union’s thru ought.
The apartment for radiators to be fitted which is up to me if we fit them or not Do you no how much boilers are in kusadasi. And how do they work,?????

With them being electric I under stand the principle of the boiler. it heats up the Water you turn on the tap bingo. But how will the same boiler run the central heating ?????????
I asked the estate agent about it But he didn’t no. But said we could get one fitted for between 2 and £300 which ??? Ok I suppose but if you are a plumber You like to do your own jobs I asked him how the central heating worked he said
From the boiler?????? He really was not shore
Regards
Keith

Yes when you come on your next trip, you will have the water turn on, at the Mayor’s office.

•Hot water boiler – Here you will have several options and this depends on how much time you will spend in your apartment and how long you plan to keep it. If you are only plan to spend limited time in your apartment a water boiler would do the trick, this would provide you with hot water through-out your villa, the boilers work on house electric and they incorporate a small holding tank . In your description of the connection in your bathroom, this is all required. On the market, these tanks vary in price usually around 235 YTL.

•If you are planning to keep your apartment long term and may spend time during the winter months, I would think about installing radiators, because in the winter here you will need a central heating system. The radiator heating systems have two systems built into one where as they will provide a combination of heat and hot water and which you can switch between the two manually and usually come with a thermostatic to control hot water and room temp. With this system, you would not need the boiler. These systems can be pricy and this is what we are currently using in our villa. Either system you decide to purchase, they will are installed by the company brand, so that you will have a warranty.

•The furnishing we can help you to make purchases or when you come we can go shopping my favorite pass time, we will be neighbors eventually, so all will be beneficial to you. You will get good Turkish prices. If you didn’t find anything here in Kusadasi we could go to Izmir everything, is not always found on the front door step. I hope this has answered your questions, I will be happy to answer any other questions you may have. Just email me.

Kind Regard

Rubab

Many thanks for your swift reply

You say the radiator heating systems have two systems built into one.????

Do you mean there is a pump built into the boiler? The boilers I have seen
Are like the boilers years ago electric, you had over a sink around 3ft high cylindrical
With a stainless steel rotating arm

Our apartment is in the aydin district it is just on the out skirt of
Kusadasi I think the fish restaurants are on the other side of the road

The aqua park as the road bends to the left coming up to the round about
