The former members of Take That will reunite for a Christmas television special charting their careers, almost 10 years after the group split.

Take That, who devastated fans when they split in February 1996 after selling nine million albums, have agreed to a one-off show which will chronicle their rise and fall.

Robbie Williams is the only former band member to have sustained a successful solo career since leaving the group.

Songwriter Gary Barlow has written numerous hits for other artists, while Mark Owen fleetingly regained fame after winning hit UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.

Jason Orange transferred his aspirations to acting and Howard Donald launched a DJ career.

I actually dug out my 'Take That Greatest Hits' Cd the other day, ah memories.

I've jusy been digging out my old photos .. that were my pride & joy when i was 16! i have 3 albums of pictures of take that, that i took when i saw them in concert, met them etc ... i loved these photos, they were my pride & joy!
after 3 layers of dust i have found them & they are shockingly bad!!! Gutted now!!

Mark was Lovley with his floppy hair .. Robbie was always my favorite until Howard got his dreads, then i converted from the pretty boy to the bit of rough!!

Ah, I still adore the song 'Babe' now.

Actually if the truth be known, I put on that greatest Hits Cd and I was singing along to every single song. They rocked!!!!!!

Even I wasn't that bad. By that time I had moved on to...BOYZONE.

i was in my second year of Uni when they split! i remember exactly where i was .. sat in the common room of the YMCA (seriously i lived there for 6 mths with my mates) & i was devestated! at 19 i should have known better!! lol .. i didnt cry, but i did almost re-arrange my plans to work in france for the Summer INCASE they did a 'split up' tour!!

I can beat the Take that watch! .. at one point (i was closer to the 16 age mark .. honest ) you could not see any wall or ceiling in my bedroom for posters & pictures!

I met then several times, they were really cool guys actually (this was all before they really took off, i was an early days stalker )

I Like 'babe' .... only sonmg i cnat listen to is 'back for good' they played it at my mates mums funeral & it will always remind me of that! .. was a very apt song for my mate to choose tho!

I did the posters thing too!! Take That posters became my wallpaper. I only had 1 pic on my ceiling though, above my bed..Mark without a top on *Swoon* But one day me and my brother had a huge fight and he went in my room and ripped them all down. Oh god, I was so distraught for weeks..!!

Can't believe you were 19 years old though Aw Back for good is a great song. Well, they all were. That duet with LuLu, relight my fire..ah top tune! 'Never forget' - bloody brilliant. I remember watching the news when they split up, girls were just breaking down into tears like their own family had died or something. What a sight!!

you name it .. i saw them there! i think over 3 years i saw them about 20 times, some really small venues, as well as big ones like Wembley Arena.

lol .. i was 19, shows my age doesnt it!!

i did just sit here & do the Never forget' arms!!



I rememeber seeing the distraut fans as well ... Luckily i was slightly over them when they split & more inot Blur
