bringing my mam to turkey for her first tim the end of oct she loves shopping any idea if they will be closed or open

Tash,

most places, bars, restaurants & shops will begin to close down at the end of October, you will be there to get the bargains, as many of the shop keepers will be wanting to get rid of all their stock!

Some places do stay open all year round in kusadasi, so dont worry .. you will still have plenty of things to see & do!

thats very late in the season, normally the last flight out of turkey is around that date ...i think as the kids school holidays are quiet late this year they have extended the travel dates a little bit.

Most places know when the last flight will leave, & as long as the trade is still there, some places will be open.

you will definatley see some places closed tho ... i went 3 yeras ago at the begining of October & places were closing then.
we still had a fantastic time tho, & im sure you will as well!!

Yeah Tasha hun I wouldn't worry about it! It's KUSADASI DUDE! It's impossible to have a bad time there!!

Some of the bars on Bar Street are closed already and some closing this weekend. But saying that there's still quite a few places staying open. There'll still be plenty of shops etc open all year, don't forget there are a few Turkish people living in Kusadasi. From what we saw last winter you may even get better bargains in some of thwe shops than in high season.

Hi Asla don't know if have a regular jeweller but we always use El Izi. Always found them to offer quality and service at good prices. Also did us a repair in hour at no charge. I know quite a few Turkish people who use them so that's good enough recommendation for me.

Dead easy to find. Same street as Carpe Diem and Yucca. just keep going past Kalyon restaurant and its a small shop on your left.
