Hi all...

I have been on web sites looking for flights to go to Kus for 6 months, all what is showing is stays for up to 28 days, this is no use.

Does anyone no any web sites what will take me from prefrebly BHX or Manchester DIRECTLY to Izmir or Bodrum, and will not cost the earth.

I no that it is easier and a bit cheaper to get a one way ticket there and sort the return ticket out when i get there. How much of that is true???

I am going by myself and i really dont want to be getting of planes in some forgein country the other side of the world, i will have friends waiting for me when i get there!!! but i have never flew alone by myself before.

I think the sites you are looking at must be holiday sites.
you need to llok at the airlines websites.

I think you will have a problem getting direct flights from BHX or MAN with scheduled airlines as they all go via Istanbul or Munich.

British airways has a flight from LGW (Gatwick) 3 times a week direct to Izmir starting at the end of March. I have just had a look for you & they have no restrictions on the amount of time you can stay there.

fares start at only £150 return .. depending on availability.

the one way flights you can get will be with the charter companies, like flythomascook & you will be able to get flights from MAN & BHX direct into Izmir (& you can book online ... also book your return online while in Turkey)

Personally i would go for the BA tickets as they are good flight times.

i have just telephoned British airways, and they have gave me a quote from London Gatwick to Izmir direct for 6 months May - Oct for a fantastic price................... £155, can you believe it

thats a brilliant price! I also find if you ever want cheap flights flythomascook.com do great deals and they also do one way to and from izmir and bodrum which has proved really really useful if u dont have a flight back booked.

I know a lot of young people who travel without their parents to Kusadasi.

you have been before, so know where to go, & know people.

If your parents are cool with it, i would go!!

im 16...17 next month tho...n my frends r all bout same age...they havnt been b4 but i hav. i no ppl from bar street and sum restaurants n uthers so do u fink i will b ok on my own?

I travelled with friends when i was your age & had no problems, you just have to be aware of your surroundings, the same as you are when at home.

you may have problems with some travel companies tho .. i know alot of the Holidays companies will not allow you to travel under the age of 18 without an adult.
