Default Kusadasi property boom

Whats the general feeling on the property market situation in Kusadasi and the surrounding area.
Im still interested in possibly buying a second property as a possible pension investment .
When i bought out at Davutlar we got a tremendous deal, in hidsight i wish i had bought two.
The property has gone up 100% in value in 20 months. This i know as several on our site have been resold.
Has the market peaked or are we still at the beginning ?
A property bought two years ago in Davutlar for £25,000 would probably cost you £50-60,000 now .
Will it keep going up,level offf or fall in the next 2-3 years ?
Another factor is the stability of East ,West relations if i put all my eggs in one basket, maybe an investment in another country

Hi Kevkj

Property market is little silent these days because everyone is waiting for the new law however new constructions are still being build.I think the new law will be available in short term and increase of the property values will go on.This increase may not be as last 20 months , because %100 is very high for this period of time and prices are slowly reaching satisfaction point.

I think Turkey is the right place to invest . one important point : Relations between turkey and Eu has an indirect effect on the market. So its also something to consider.

I hope i could help.
Success with your investment.

Hi Kevkj

Me and you seem to think the same way and have simular ideas and reservations.

When I brought my place last I had every intention of buying a second place, but unfortunatly the company I work for was taken over and my wages were cut by a third,

But I still intend on buying another place in the near future, I agree with john in that although the prices will not rise at the same rate over the next year, they will still keep going up at a good rate.

Although I am pleased with my first purchase, we have probably both a lot wiser now in what to look for with a second purchase and if we keep looking around will find a good bargain for a investment property.

Got admit, always a worry about all your eggs in one basket, but easier to keep an eye on.

Happy hunting

Brian
