Hey Lady, yeah you can get a bus to Izmir. There are very frequent bus services for about €4 per person. I think they depart something like every 30 mins and it takes roughly 1 hour.

The shopping in Izmir is much better than in Kusadasi. I've heard that the malls in Izmir are great. (Konak Pier etc) There is also Kemaralti.. it's a huge street market bazaar where you can find anything you could want for very appropriate prices.

You can take a bus to Izmir, Elbirk make the trip every fifteen minutes during the summer, every half hour in winter, the cost 7.50ytl, once at the garage in Izmir you can catch a free shuttle to any part of the city just ask. on the return you must purchase your return ticket, before you can ride the shuttle back the garage. We make this trip quiet often since parking in Izmir is a hassle. Depending where you go taxi can get you to all shopping centers.
