The foreign workers in emlaks in Kusadasi are not all english; eg. İm from Northern İreland. There is also your Canadian friend from Sherlock Homes. Christine Altinay is belgian or german (im not sure)

Registered emlaks will have what is called a Vergi Levhasi. İt will show their tax number and that they pay tax.İf you cant see one ask them to show it to you.
İt should be hung on a wall so that it is in full view of everyone.
Unfortunately there is probably more unregistered emlaks than registered ones.
