hiya,

Can anyone tell me the taxi price from Izmir airport to the town centre?
Also any problems getting to the centre on a bus at about 20:30?

yip, if your wife is Turkish, it would be very easy to go with a bus. it is cheap and easy. just you need to go to bus station

you will need to get a bus from airport into Izmirr, then connect to a bus to Kusadasi.

Im not sure how late the buses run tho??

Claire is right about having to get a taxi into central Izmir from the airport. There is no bus service from the airport direct to Kusadasi. Its their way of making sure the taxis get their business unfortunately. Expect to pay 15YTL to the Bus Terminal.

2 tickets from Izmir Bus Terminal to Kusadasi will cost 16YTL so you are looking at around 30YTL in total for the transfer. If you choose to use a taxi direct from Izmir then you really should agree a fixed price with the driver and NOT use the meter.

75YTL is a fair price for both parties.
