A BOMB left in a rubbish skip at a major outdoor bus station has injured three people in Istanbul, police said today.

The bomb was left in a container in Eminonu, a major departure point for buses in Turkey's largest city.

Bombings are becoming more frequent as the country leans towards the east and islamic radicals attempt to destabilise the country with a view to establishing an islamic state.

according 2 ntv news in turkey 4 people have died in the bombing

İstanbul Eminönü’nde, İETT duraklarının yakınındaki bir çöp konteynırında, saat 10.20 sıralarında bir patlama oldu. Olayda 4 kişi yaralandı.

Has anyone heard anything about the explosion in Anatalya (mangavat) it was on teletext yesterday, it was thought to have been a gas canister that caused it? 4 people killed, anyone have any info on it.

Hi Mavi, yes I heard about it. You can read the story here: Click although there is no new information.

4 people dead... 3 foreign, 1 Turkish and yes, it's thought to have been caused by an exploding gas canister at the restaurant.
