No, each time i was in Kus i asked all the words i could to my friend n noted them on papers... lol but it didnt work, i couldnt form sentences by myself. So i choose a book which teach very well Turkish Grammar, its called ASSIMIL. For the rest, when u no grammar, u can learn easily vocabulary in Kus. Thats what im doin since more than one year (i go to Kus 5 weeks for a year)

Waterstones sell a few books on learning Turkish.

It's wierd though because they sell hundreds of books and special cd's and stuff to Learn Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Hungarian, Pollish, Chinese ...and for Turkish they have only a few, the rest u have to order in specially. I was talking to the lady also in WHSmith's and i told her i wanted to learn Turkish, did she have any good books to help me and she looked at me like i had 6 noses and green hair. Its not that uncommon..loads of people i know wanna learn it...which i informed her and she sort of shrugged and walked off lol
