i am going back to Kusadasi to visit some friends in early december, but for the first time i will have a flight to Antalya. I need to take the big bus to Kusadasi from there, but i heard that the bus station is far away from the airport. The next problem is that my flight lands at 00h20. Does anyone know where i can find a scheduale for the bus to Kusadasi? I suppose they don't depart all night long.
If anyone has any experience wuth this, plssss help me

Hi Wendy, I have done the same this year in January and it was a nice drive to Kusadasi.

Unfortunately there are no busses leaving after midnight and the next bus is at 6.00 u in the morning. Just like you my flight arrived after midnight and I just took a taxi and asked the taxi driver to take me to the bus station. The bus station is quite far away from the airport (+- 20 min by taxi). At the busstation I first bought a ticket to Aydini for the first bus (I travelled with Pamukkale and I was very pleased with it). Then I asked the taxi driver to take me to a cheap pension for a few hours sleep and a nice shower. I preferred to stay in a pension over a stay in the bus station which was quite deserted also because I was pregnant at that moment. You really have to be very firm that you just need a CHEAP pension for some hours because first the taxi driver brought me to a pension asking 45 ytl for one night... Sta op je strepen dus !
In the morning I arrangde to have the same taxi driver to get me from the pension and bring me to the bus station. I started already haggling him for a fixed price when we left the airport because he did more than one trip for me... I am not sure how much I paid, considering it was also after midnight but I thought it would be about 40 ytl.
The bus for Aydin left at 06.00 in the morning and about 13.00 I arrived in Aydin. And then only had to get on the dolmus to Kusadasi to get there where I wanted to be ! Quite a long trip but very nice scenery and seeing a different part of Turkey. Be aware that when you go back you have to take into account the travel time on the big bus and the taxi to the airport. My plane left on sunday 06.00 in Antalya so I had to leave Kusadasi at +- 19.00 h saturday to get the bus in Aydin and to be on time in the airport.

you may be better getting a big bus to soke from the bus station as it is nearer to kusadasi than aydin in the same bus station you can get a dolmus to kusadasi
also you may be able to get a big bus direct to kusadasi from antalaya
i will ask my husband for you and let you know ok
