Anyone got any tips on how to get through Christmas and New Year, and any cures for hangovers are always helpful
I've put on abit of weight recently and the festive season doen't help! I know Shakira says her hips don't lie, but I wish my bloody scales would! I seem to have more alcohol in the fridge than food, you feel it's almost compulsory to eat and drink too much at this time of year. And all those nice party treats in the shops look like there at least 150 percent fat! When you go to parties and see the time and effort people put into putting on a spread, you can't say no I'm not hungry. Bought some fruit smoothies to help me detox on New Years day they always seem to help hangovers. Aiming for a six pack on the beach in Kus next year instead of the ones I've got in the fridge ![]() ![]() |

Mark, drink lots and lots of water!!!.
It will help enorumously on the hangovers and aid your body in getting rid of all the sugary, salty and fatty food. Try not to drink your calories. Diet softdrinks and wine is the best bet if you have to drink. Beer goes directly to the spare tire section! ![]() Anyway have a great Xmas!!! NOW...... LET THERE BE GORGING!!! ![]() |

French and Saunders always brilliant
![]() In a panic now! Woke up this morning and I couldn't see my feet (and other bits )In summer I completely cut out cheese and bread and went swimming twice a week and the weight just fell off, so maybe will have to do that again. Only problem is, what clothes to buy in the sales, XL I can comfortably wear now or Large I can wear later. |

Mark you sound like me!! Ive recently lost 2 stone, so dropped 2 sizes .. then over did it the past month & have gained 7lbs .. & gone up a size im buying the smaller size, which i currently look like an over stuffed sausage in ..but with a bit of luck (& a lot of work at the Gym ) i will not look quiet so over stuffed in the near future! im thinking the 'new' clothes will give me a bit of an incentive ... i can hope anyway!! ![]() |

ooooooohhhhhhh i know the feeling too well. drank far too much not really eaten that much but will have to cut out the drink. Buy the smaller clothes and just reassure yourself that you will fit into them, ONE DAY, hopefully sooner rather than later
