Thumbs down Armenian journalist assassinated

I am so sorry...

Hrant Dink, the editor of Turkey’s main Armenian-language newspaper Agos - was shot dead in Istanbul - Friday.

"This attack against Hrant Dink is against the Turkish nation's togetherness and peace," PM Erdogan said. "A bullet was fired at freedom of thought and democratic life."

Ethnic Armenians as well as many Turks - gathered to protest the killing. They chanted slogans including: "Long live the brotherhood of people!"

I am sure that some guys will use this against Turkey and Turkish people...

This is a tragedy... As well as provocation... I think same with our PM : "it was against the Turkish nation's togetherness and peace"

Fury in Turkey at editor's murder
Thousands of people have rallied in Istanbul to protest at the murder of a prominent Turkish-Armenian journalist, Hrant Dink, outside his office.

"We are all Armenians, we are all Hrant Dink," the crowd chanted.

I wasnt agree with Hrant Dink... But i was happy to seeing him that he was a journalist in Turkey. It was nice for our country's democracy (he experienced lot of difficulties tho).

In his last newspaper article, he mentioned about threats and he was aware some morons want to kill him. He said that

"..........I am just like a pigeon. I look around to my left and right, in front and behind me as much as it does. My head is just as active."

he added that "But i know people dont do anything bad to pigeons in this country..."

Unfortunately a moron did yesterday. And Turkey has lost its one of great son.

As i said yesterday, some morons will try to manipulate this. But they dont know we Turkish people are all Armenian today...

I dont know a lot about Hrant Dink, but no one deserves to be murdered or
inprisoned for their beliefs or views.
This shooting is not only a murder but this young boy who knows so little about the world has shot Turkey in the foot in its stuggle for Democrasy.
More than likely some radical thug paid the poor kid to do it.
Very sad.... every year Turkey has some trouble that gives it bad press.
Why dont these people rally as the protested did in Istanbul to promote all that is good and to be valued about Turkey.

BTW, remember that last year a priest killed in Trabzon by again 17 years old junkie (under 18 - less prison). I believe that theres a very dirty organization behind it.

This young guy didn't kill Hrant Dink on his own; there was someone or something behind it. It was his family who turned him in to the police.
According to newspapers, it was a friend of his who bombed McDonald's in Istanbul in 2004 and another friend who murdered the Priest. So they must belong to some kind of organisation.
