Default Where to take children in the evenings?

I am bringing the children over end of march, they are 10 and 7 can anyone suggest a child friendly place where adults can have a drink and there is some sort of entertainment for the children?

Thumbs up

i would say there is no where better than the beach ,if you have a bar close by, and a football area, and a swingpark, or try going out on a gullet"boat2 for the day ,inexpensive ,and food and drink as well ,also a good chance to see turkey and the greek islands ,good luck...

They play football - everyone plays football - there are lots of enclosed courts that get used for it. There are a lot of public parks with swings and so on but it all depends on the ages of your children as to whether that would be OK or too young for them. When we had a young teenager staying with us last year I took her to one of the bead shops and she spent a very happy morning learning how to make jewellery - it was nice too!!

You could always have a jeep safari into the Millipark. it's a fun day out and better when the weather isn't 35 in the shade!

The aqua parks usually open early too, try the web for the sites for aqua fantasy or aqua land and see if they're open.

That's it. It's 2.30 am and I'm off to bed. I hope that gave you some constructive ideas.

Karen

We take my little boy the The Lion Hotel at weekends, but not sure that it will be open end of March. They have two swimming pools and a small one and a couple of slides, entrance is free you just load up one of their cards for drinks and food etc. They also do a show every weekend that is very good for children and adults and after the show a disco. Not sure whether they are open at the end of March though.

There's nowhere for young children to go in the evenings/night-time during the winter months; they're at school and quite a few of them have lessons starting at 7am! Most people spend the winter evenings at home with the family and do most of their entertaining at home.
And Singsongs correct in saying that nothing really opens up until the end of April.
