how about a cheap internal flight,everyone keeps saying that they do cheap flights to izmir from uk but yet to see it at least you could fly internally cheap todays turkish daily '

On the occasion of Sunexpress' first anniversary of starting direct flight from İzmir, 1,111 people will fly for 1 YTL or 1 Euro (not including taxes) from İzmir to some domestic and international cities, including Adana, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt among many other cities between March 26 and April 1. Ticket will be on sale at 11 p.m. on March 24 at the company's Web site.

Look at BA As long as you book ahead. I booked all 2007 flights for under £100 return. Yes its more now but thats how they work. Get in early for the cheap flights. All flights went up in Feb with the new Tax. But flights are still abound for £140 return. Flying to Bodrum during 'Season' will get you from local airports. I had a look for my son and £148+ was the best I saw.

allways fly ba gatwick - izmir but there were rumours that sunexpress were also going to go scheduled to izmir from stanstead,transfer time from bodrum to long.

would agree with richard, book far enough ahead and ba is probably the cheapest, all our flights cost less than £100.00. also fairly reliable too, and parking is not bad at gatwick again if booked early enough.

I agree with you Richard. I too always book ahead and have my next holiday to the UK in September, two weeks for £93 with BA.
