joanne,
the fake designer gear is found just about everywhere

all the markets & many of the shops will be selling the 'genuine' fakes.

remember to haggle with them on the prices!!

Yes you can Joanne,

Check with your bank before you travel to advise them you are away, this should stop your card being rejected (the banks sometimes do this as a safety measure)
also check on what the bank will charge will be, i know my bank (Natwest) have just increased their fee from £1.25 to £2.75 for with drawing money abroad!

Joanne
There are numerous hole in the walls that you can use your card dont worry about that I can think of 10 off the top of my head .Kusadasi is a great place to visit for the 1st time the fake gear as Claire has said is everywhere but beware shop around and dont buy all you fake gear on the first couple of days until you get the idea of prices, the markets are a great experience busy and buzzing and mainly where you get the best prices but you will get a bit of banter and hassle but nothing you cant handle ,there is also a market in Selcuk on Saturday which is worth a visit.Lots of designer type shops in the town with great prices on designer gear also a brilliant coffee shop iin the town called OZ SUT which has great coffee and pastries/desserts not cheap but a nice treat. All the coffee shops on the front are great havent tried them all but the ones I have tried have been great .Cafe Seyhan,Planet Yucca and the Seray are great places to eat and drink in the evening Seray being my favourite.Good luck and enjoy you will love it!!!
Which hotel are you staying at?

Dean
